BIOPEP-UWM: Report

ID 8108
Name peptide derived from conger eel muscle (Conger myriaster)
sequence
LGLNGDDVN

Function:
Peptide exhibited higher antioxidative activity to inhibit lipid peroxidation (93%) in vitro than a-tocopherol. Peptide in a concentration of 0,375 mg/ml revealed hydroxyl and carbon-centered radicals scavenging properties of 81,3% and 73,7%, respectively. Additionally, scavenged radicals at IC50 values of 74,1μM and 78,5μM.
