| ID | 8127 |
| Name | peptide derived from muscle protein of bullfrog (Rana catesbeiana Shaw) |
| sequence |
| Function: | |||
| The DPPH*, hydroxyl and superoxide radicals scavenging activity of ascorbic acid ( vitamin C) was similar to that of the peptide. The IC50 values of peptide against DPPH*, hydroxyl and superoxide radicals were 179,4µM, 162,7µM, 176,1µM and 172,1µM, respectively. Peptide exhibited higher activity for lipid peroxidation inhibition than that of a-tocopherol. *DPPH - the stable free radical 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl | |||
