The system of education in the new, reformed curriculum enables to obtain the vocational title of engineer or the scientific degree of Master of Science.
In one-degree courses it is possible to obtain the vocational title of engineer after 7 semesters of study (3.5 years), and then continue education in Master’s complementary courses in order to obtain the scientific degree of Master of Science. In two-degree courses, after 7 semesters of study and obtaining the vocational title of engineer, studying can be continued for further semesters and the scientific degree of Master of Science can be granted.
The Chair of Food Biochemistry contributes to the development, continuous improvement and implementation of curricula. The Chair’s staff delivers courses for full-time and extramural students at the engineer and M.Sc. levels. The classes take place in laboratories and students participate in the following courses: chemistry, organic chemistry, organic chemistry with biochemistry, organic chemistry with elements of biochemistry, biochemistry, food biochemistry, some issues of enzymology, and enzymology, bioinformatics and bioprocesses.
Students are instructed according to the enclosef schedule of education including 3 fields of study in various specialities. The educational offer of the Chair of Food Biochemistry is as follows:
